Stallions

Stallions

As a rider I want to make sure that the very best qualities of a highly competive dressage partner are encompassed in our breeding program. Careful matching and mares and stallions is carried out with a huge amount of research into finding the right cross for each individual dependent on their strengths and weakness's.

We have used the following stallions in our program to date.

Sir Donnerhall

An exeptional breeding and competition stallion with the highest FN breeding stallion rating. A consitent producer of excellent offspring, including regional champion, licensing champions and high priced auction horses.

 Lanthan (dec)

 Contendro 1

Contendro I, premium stallion at his approval in 1999 in Neumünster. In 2000 he won his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, clearly victorious in the index for jumping with a score of 147.29. In the dressage index he ended on fourth place among the 39 stallions tested with a score of 131.09. In 2001 he placed with the best at the Holstein Riding Horse Championships and was nominated for the Bundeschampionat.
Because he was so popular with mare owners, Contendro I had little time for competing but came home with a ribbon from every single show jumping test he entered.

Dacaprio

Dacaprio was the third most expensive stallion at the Stallion Licensing in Verden, Germany in 1998 when he ws purchased by Jens and Susanne Meyer for their stallion station in Dorum, Germany. Dacaprio passed his performance test at Adelheidsdorf the following year as a three-year-old with the sixth-highest Class I Dressage Index of 122.00 points.

Dacaprio is internationally recognized for both his successes in the show ring with Susanne Meyer and for his ability as a sire to stamp his offspring with his wonderfully elastic gaits, athleticism, beauty, as well as his exemplary character and rideability. In the Hanoverian breeding region in Germany, his positive influence both as a performer and as a prepotent sire is still very much in evidence.
